Wow! I’m speechless! This book had me overlooking a cliff! What did I just read? This book had the angst, suspense, and drama. Did I mention the age gap, and was very steamy? Damian and Shay were keeping the pages HOT to the touch! To love a bodyguard named Damian is priceless!
Shay Eastwood is the Hollywood Scarlett plastered on tv and, in magazines, on billboards. She is the “IT” girl! In her personal life, this makes it hard to let others in. Besides her boyfriend and the people she works with on set, she is monitored by her bodyguard every second of the day. She fights her feelings towards Damian until she discovers her boyfriend is not the man she once knew. Shay finally realizes the man she needs is Damian.
A fiercely protective hero, Damian will give his life to safeguard Shay. Despite being deeply drawn to her, he views their connection as forbidden fruit due to their age difference and professional relationship. Little did he expect Shay to take the first step in pursuing a romantic relationship with him.
Damian and Shay’s love story had ups and downs but kept me on my toes. It was a well-written story that only Queen Q.B. Tyler could write! If you haven’t had the chance to read this captivating story, I highly recommend purchasing the book or adding it to your must-read list, my fellow book lovers!
